Changing Rooms

Added on 31/01/2008

A resident asked the Parish Council to lobby for changing facilities on the playing field. After discussion it was agreed that there were difficulties with this and yet we wanted to provide facilities for a local football team to use. What we decided to do instead was try to get changing facilities at the Community Centre which could be used by several different groups, be part of a semi-protected site, could utilise existing buildings and keep community facilities under one roof. We have meetings with Telford & Wrekin to try and take things forward at the end of January. But in January 2009 we are still waiting.

Paddock Mound

Followed on the Monday by Telford & Wrekin chipping our cleared debris, coppicing some of the larger trees and work to the wooded mound overlooking the Holyhead Road.
