Photographs of Ketley

Initially this page will give access to photographs that a few of the people linked with this web site have taken of Ketley places or people. Also included will be some photographs of Ketley in years gone by. There is a facility on our site to send your photographs to the Parish and then a selection of these will be added each week until a catalogue of Ketley pictures will be established.

A suggestion has been made that if possible, when sending your photographs, the date of when it was taken is included we will begin to understand how Ketley is changing over the years. As the site gains more and more inclusions it will probably need to be divided into sections to make navigation easier and more satisfying. To overcome copyright issues it would also help if possible if it is made clear at the time of sending who has taken the photograph. Don't be upset if all your images are not shown because there is only so much time we have for changing the website each week. We will let people know when their photographs have been included.

This facility for you to send images to us is obviously dependent upon a digital picture. Of course there are many stunning pictures of Ketley that have been taken before the digital age. One of our banner pictures is of the school in the early 20th Century and another is of the houses on the Holyhead Road in the early 1960's. We have the means to copy photographs digitally.
