Ketley Youth Activities
From the beginning of November 2007 the old Nursery building on the Holyhead Road, for many years used as an Ketley Infants, has been home to the first Ketley Youth Club. The building is ideal in size, positioning and, as the place where many of our residents started their schooling experience, loved by many. It is also of course one of the few buildings in Ketley of architectural importance and one of the few in Telford. Giving it a purpose will hopefully ensure its continued well being into the future.
This is now going to be home of the young and the young at heart for at least this year.
There is pressure on Telford and Wrekin Council to sell this and the next door community centre for development to raise much needed funds. So whether we are successful in our attempts depends on many factors and we will need your support in the months ahead. However for now take a look at what is already happening and that which is planned to happen at the Youth Centre.
